2010 Graduates

Ashley Bergthold is originally from Missouri and is a MIZZOU Agricultural Business Management graduate. Ashley spent the previous two years as the Business Editor for a newspaper in Tennessee. She spent her first semester on campus as a TA for the Marketing 341 class and will spend spring semester applying web 2.0 tools to create more efficient communication between the students and alumni of the MBA Agribusiness Program.

Seth George is originally from Cody, Wyoming and is a BYU-Idaho Animal Science graduate. Seth is currently working on the Global Corn Model with Dr. Conley and hopes to return to the family dairy farm when he has completed his MBA.

Laura Linden is from Holdrege and is a UNL CBA Agribusiness graduate. She spent the past summer interning for the National Corn Growers Association in Washington, DC and is currently working with Stan Garbacz in the Nebraska Department of Agriculture working on international marketing of Nebraska Ag products.

Ross Miller from Davenport, is a 2006 UNL Mechanized Systems Management graduate. Ross has spent the past 2 years working for Syngenta as a District Sales Manager. His father at two brothers are still actively involved in the family livestock and grain operations. Ross was the Noble Ruler of AGR Fraternity and a member of Mortar Board during his undergraduate studies at UNL. Ross is working with Dr. Jose in the Ag Economics department on the "Winning the Game" extension programming series.

2009 Graduates

Troy Collins from Stockholm, SD will graduate in May 2009. He is currently working on an energy project looking at the possibility of powering center pivots using solar or wind energy. Troy interned this summer at an elevator in Beloit, KS this summer.

Rodney Ensz from Beatrice will graduate in May or August of 2009. Rodney spent a month this summer studying in Europe and plans to do an internship this summer before returning to the family farming operation. Rodney is working on the Global Corn Model with Dr. Conley.

Zizhou (Joe) Tian is in his second year in the MBA program and his first in the Agribusiness specialization. Originally from China, Joe is working to develop a strategic marketing plan to increase the awareness and enrollment of Chinese students in the UNL MBA Agribusiness Specialization.

Matt Weeder from Lindsay will graduate in May 2009. Matt is currently working on the global corn model with Dr. Conley and spent the summer interning with F.C. Stone in Omaha.
